Our most important resource is you! WABA relies on your participation, engagement, feedback and support. WABA will be arranging trail and crag maintenance days, and relies on your participation to achieve the stewardship goals. WABA will be working with land owners on your behalf to address access issues, and will work to develop long term trail and crag development strategies. Please get involved in the community, show your support, and follow proper crag/climbing and area ethics. You make our jobs easy when we can show that as a community we care for the nature we share.
As a non-profit association run by volunteers, any donations are greatly appreciated and will be used to fund: purchase of tools for trail days, insurance for group events, website hosting, and ongoing development and access to local crags, including long term development such as better trail networks, signage, potential parking, washrooms, etc.
WABA will be organizing trail days, boulder cleaning, and developing new areas. All events will be listed on our facebook group.
Please utilize the facebook group to build the community, provide updated conditions, topos, route development, meetups, etc. Look forward to seeing you on the trails!
